I had to go through the process first before I could begin helping others.
My grandfather and father were both machinest. I didn’t dive into this field until my mid-thirties after a few building projects with my pappa sparked my interest. In machining, what I learned was that you are taking a piece of material and turning it into what you want. In this case, the part was myself and I was being reshaped into the person I knew myself to be.
I’ve been going through my own journey of self-reflection that I’ve called the Path(s) Leading Back to Me (PLBTM) to process through past trauma, reconnect with my talents and skills sets, and enhance my individualistic expression to become my best self. This phrase “best self” changes in definition depending on the day and influences involved and will for you as well, but ultimately it’s being the best version of yourself at that given time with all the external and internal factors taken into consideration.
I naturally gravitated towards helping others through this same process and I’ve compiled many of the self-reflection tools I’ve used into (1) a workbook found on Amazon to help you learn more about yourself and (2) stepping stone booklets that you’ll find within the available course.
In this process, I’m playing the role as the outside observer who makes suggestions, but your life decisions continue to come down to your own introspection, thought process, and internal guidance for the direction you want to take.
